Community Access Program - Youth Initiative

CAP is also complemented by its youth initiative, the Community Access Program Youth Initiative (CAP YI). The youth program provides employment opportunities to young Canadians between the ages of 15 to 30 in various CAP sites across the country.

TAG has mentored over 30 youth through this program since 1999. The youth intern program instils good work habits and allows the student to learn first hand how to work in a supported team environment.

Working life habits such as punctuality, attention to detail and delivering prioritized tasks on time are developed. At TAG everyone’s contribution is valued as critical, and the range of duties is varied and interesting.
