Recycling, Refurbishing and Reducing Electronic Waste!

TAG is proud to announce the opening of our "E-Waste Diversion Centre". The development of the E-waste Diversion Centre was made possible in part by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario and by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

The Centre will open for electronic waste material drop-offs from Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

  • Floppy-disk drives and optical drives
  • Computer mice and keyboards
  • Wired and wireless modems
  • Monitors and televisions
  • Printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines
  • Typewriters, label makers and calculators with printing capabilities
  • Telephones and answering machines
  • Cellular phones, PDAs and pagers
  • DVD players, VCRs, digital picture frames and projectors
  • Digital and non-digital cameras, video cameras and webcams
  • Cassette players, CD players, MP3 players, radios, speakers and stereo systems
  • Home stereo amplifiers, receivers, equalizers, turntables and tuners
  • Vehicle speakers, radios, CD and DVD players
  • Personal hand held computers

Past E-Waste Information

I.E. Weldon School students needed computers.

A tech teacher at Weldon was in need of computers that the students could take apart and put back together to learn about computer hardware. TAG donated 10 computers that were returned at the end of the year for recycling.
